Brainerd, Minn. (February 12, 2018)– Among the Top 10 communities in the running to win Season 3 of the highly acclaimed Small Business Revolution contest, the town of Brainerd, Minnesota has served the home-base for Aqua-Vu for over two decades.
“As a successful business, we believe in supporting our community,” says Ben Gibbs, President of Aqua-Vu parent company Outdoors Insight, Inc. “We’ve long supported a host of community programs, events and organizations like the Chamber of Commerce. Winning the Small Business Revolution award would be a huge boon for the Brainerd Lakes area and all its citizens.”
Deluxe Corporation, organizers of the Small Business Revolution, recently announced that 10 small towns among thousands of nominations remain in the running for a $500,000 grand prize.
Matt Kilian, President of the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce says the local community would use the prize money to help revitalize its downtown area, as well as offering consulting services for six local businesses. The winning community will also be featured in an online video series airing on www.smallbusinessrevolution.org.

Deluxe team members will travel to each of the 10 towns to meet civic and business leaders, interview business owners and learn more about how marketing expertise and the Small Business Revolution can benefit each community. From there, Deluxe will narrow the list to five towns that the public will vote on Feb. 13-20 to determine the winner. The towns represent a cross-section of American life.
Voting for the Small Business Revolution begins the morning of February 13 and runs through February 20. By visiting mybrainerd.com, individuals can their vote once per day. The winner will be announced February 27, via Facebook Live.
