Hunt and hike cooler in Blocker Outdoors’ new Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant.

MUSKEGON, MI (January 26, 2024) – A season ago, Blocker Outdoors introduced the Finisher Turkey Series to great fanfare from the thunder chicken crowd. Previously, it was mostly cobbling together whitetail gear that did its best to match the temperatures, terrain conditions, and general needs of turkey hunting. But knowing the seriousness of these guys and gals, and the specific requirements of turkey hunting, the Finisher Turkey Series was born.

And for the 2024 gobbler season, Blocker is proud to introduce the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant, lighter weight version of the original Finisher Turkey Pant.

“Turkey hunters loved the original, and still do, but there was demand for something even lighter,” said Blocker Marketing Director and woodsman, Steve Allie. “Makes sense, too, given how warm it can be in the spring.”

At the core of the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant is a super-stretchy poly spandex material. Its double weave makes the fabric exceptionally durable as well. Likewise, the poly spandex material actively cools, which is essential to turkey hunting in warmer weather.

Cooling is supplemented by a pair of side seam zip vents – a hallmark feature of the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant. The fabric actively cools, but when temps start soaring or you’re humping through the woods or field, you’ll seriously appreciate the added ventilation.

Blocker’s new Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant offers exceptional fit and locomotion as well. Blocker designed it to fit like comfortable, everyday pants, with even a flair of athleticism. The four-way stretch poly spandex allowed Blocker to focus on a perfect fit without any restriction of movement. To that, the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant’s articulated knees fully cater to active walking and kneeling in the field.

Despite the exceptional fit, there’s adequate space for a base layer to extend the pants utility into cooler weather. And elasticity in the rear waist band accommodates tucking in a shirt or top base layer.

Signature to Blocker gear, the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant employs an S3® anti-microbial finish to prevent odors. The famed S3® treatment’s silver ions bind to and penetrate the surface of odor-causing bacteria on contact. Silver ions disrupt the microbe’s DNA, preventing the formation of odor and keeping your pants fresher, longer. To that, the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant received a special wicking treatment to manage moisture.

Lastly, there’s no shortage of spots to stash your stuff with the Finisher Lightweight Turkey Pant’s six pocket design – two side, two rear, and a pair of cargo pockets.
