NEW SALTWATER GEAR

Anchoring the Show with New Fishing Products

DAIWA to unveil new saltwater rods, reels and lures at the world’s biggest marine show!

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA (February 11, 2025) – Along with the latest in sportfishing yachts and tricked-out center console fishing boats, fishing enthusiasts attending the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) will be treated to the introduction of new DAIWA saltwater rods, reels, and tackle. The legacy manufacturer will be unveiling its new 25SALTIGA saltwater spinning and 25SALTIGA 300 conventional reels, 25Darkwater offshore rods, along with new lures and fishing accessories.

“Over the past few years, we’ve recognized the excitement and attendee interest at MIBS goes well beyond new boats and yachts,” said DAIWA Marketing Director, Marc Mills. “We’ll have a major presence displaying our extensive lineup of saltwater tackle, and will again make it an exciting event for the many saltwater-focused anglers attending with the introduction of new rods and reels for the 2025 fishing season.”

Additionally, attendees visiting the DAIWA display on Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14, can meet noted saltwater fishing experts from both the Saltwater Experience and Into the Blue teams.

Along with new SALTIGA reels and Darkwater rods, the DAIWA display will showcase new tackle introduced at last summer’s ICAST Show that is now available at tackle shops. Mills noted that avid saltwater anglers will want to check out the SALTIGA Light Jigging and Outrage jigging rods, SALTIGA Power Slow rods, along with the new Seaborg, Seapower and Tanacom power-assist reels.

“For spinning reel fans, be sure to check out our new CERTATE SW one-piece Monocoque saltwater reels in 4000, 5000, and 6000 sizes,” added Mills. “You’ll appreciate DAIWA’s saltwater spinning reel technology to tackle the salt.”

DAIWA will offer an assortment of ‘value-added’ fishing gear with the purchase of select tackle for participating dealers at the show.
